WhiteBIT API Terms and Conditions

By using API keys and Webhook available through the WhiteBIT Platform the User agrees to unconditionally accept and comply with these WhiteBIT API Terms and Conditions stated below (hereinafter - the "Terms").

The Terms shall be construed as an inseparable part of WhiteBIT User Agreement available at link https://whitebit.com/terms . In the event of conflict between the Terms and the WhiteBIT User Agreement, the Terms shall prevail. Definitions contained herein shall be interpreted according to the meanings defined through these Terms and in the WhiteBIT User Agreement.

The subject of these Terms is regulation the use of the API keys and Webhooks provided by WhiteBIT and available for the Users on the link https://whitebit.com/settings/api (hereinafter to be referred as "API"). License

The User is acknowledged and agrees that by using the API, he/she bears risks and may provide partial or total permissions to access his/her Account and such use is beyond WhiteBIT control. Actions performed via API are deemed completed by the User and the User bears full responsibility on such actions. In NO way WhiteBIT indemnifies any losses related to API use.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, WhiteBIT grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and make personal use of the API. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of the WhiteBIT Platform, or its contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use; any downloading, copying, or other use of Account information for the benefit of any third-party; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools. This license does not include any right in, or license to, any present or future proprietary information, patent Know-How, copyright, logos and trademarks, other intellectual property rights of WhiteBIT. All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved and retained by WhiteBIT.

WhiteBIT may at its sole discretion to add, disable, edit, revoke the API at any time, without any prior or further notifications. The User bears no obligations under these Terms to utilize the any or all API. Relations between the User and third parties are not subject to these Terms. If WhiteBIT has reasons to believe that certain User's API were compromised, WhiteBIT may suspend the User's use of such API as well as suspend the User's Account.

For the User's convenience, the API may be revoked at the link https://whitebit.com/settings/api.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble, tamper with, or bypass any security associated with the WhiteBIT, WhiteBIT Website API and other API related data, whether in whole or in part. Nor the API and related data, nor any part of them, may be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without WhiteBIT express written consent. You may not frame or utilize framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) belonging to WhiteBIT. You may not use any meta tags or any other “hidden text” utilizing WhiteBIT name or trademarks. You may not misuse the API. The licenses granted hereby terminate if you do not comply with Terms, WhiteBIT User Agreement and your country legislation. Recommended safety measures

Considering the high risk of the API use, it is recommended for the User to apply the safety measures not less strict than the following:

Use a certain API for a single purpose. Avoid enabling permissions, which are not strictly required. Deny access to or revoke the API that is not in use. Implement an allow list for the IP addresses from which the API may be accessed. Ensure the security and publicity of the services you use. Avoid storing the API on cloud-based storage. Do not share API with third parties if you have any doubts in their safety. If you have doubts that your API were compromised, immediately revoke the compromised API and reissue new ones.

WhiteBIT does not provide financial, tax, legal, investment or other recommendations. Any API is intended for utilization purposes only and does not guarantee, recommend, promise, engage in and is not an offer to buy or sell any Digital asset or to perform any transaction. The User agrees that the API is not and cannot be considered the main reason for his/her decision to perform any Transaction, and WhiteBIT is not and cannot be considered the User's financial consultant or fiduciary trustee. Liability Limitations

To the maximal extent permitted under the applicable law, the API, materials and any services, products or other item provided under these Terms are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and WhiteBIT expressly disclaims, and the User waives, any and all other warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied, including, without limitation, implied warranties of functionality, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement or warranties arising from course of performance, course of dealing or use of the API.

Without limiting the foregoing, WhiteBIT does not represent or warrant that the API and subsequent materials are accurate, complete, reliable, up-to-date, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We may establish a limitation to the amount of the requests to be performed via the exact API.

Official Documentation of WhiteBIT API, Guidances, provided are for informational purposes only and may not be used as a manual, nor as recommendations to implement API or use any other services or features connected to the API.

The User is solely responsible for maintaining security, implementation of appropriate measures of control and protection over all of his/her API.

The User understands and agrees that WhiteBIT will be exempted from the liability for any direct or indirect losses, any lost profit, data, ability to use the API, operational downtime, loss of business reputation, costs on the replacement of the services or downtime incurred to the User, the User's affiliates and any other person as a result of execution of or in connection with these Terms, even if the User, the User's affiliate or any other person had not previously been notified of the possibility of such losses, etc. Indemnification

The User agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless WhiteBIT against any losses, damage, expenses, claims, litigation, fine, including court expenses incurred by WhiteBIT, which are a direct or indirect consequence of the User's misuse of the API, violation by the User of any Law, rule, regulation or third party rights. Miscellaneous

The User must not assign the rights and obligations under these Terms in any way without the prior written consent of WhiteBIT, and any alleged assignment in violation of this clause is invalid.

We reserve the right to at any time update, amend or modify any part of these terms and conditions or to otherwise change the Service or its part, without prior notifications. With each subsequent use of the API, the User shall familiarize himself/herself with a new version of the Terms. Any amendment of the terms and conditions or Service shall be binding upon publication hereby.

If the User does not agree to the terms and conditions of new versions of the Terms, the User must immediately stop using the API.

If any court or governmental authority finds that any provision of these Terms (or part of any provision) is invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision or part thereof shall be considered deleted to the necessary extent, and this shall not affect the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms.
