Margin Competition

Welcome to our new margin trading battle. Evaluate the effectiveness of your trades with realized P&L (rP&L), which reflects the profits or losses for a closed trading position and is indicated by a number. You can find rP&L on the exchange in the "History of positions" section.

Details on the leaderboard formation can be found in the section below, and the complete list of rules is available in our blog.

Winners are determined by their rP&L. rP&L is calculated as the amount of profit that the participant received during trading on the selected pair after the position is closed. Users with negative or zero rP&L indicators cannot get into the leaderboard of the Trading competition, where the main parameter for selecting winners is the rP&L indicator. Please note that the rP&L indicator will be displayed on the leaderboard in Tether (USDT). To participate in the competition, increase your trading volume on the BTC/USDT pair to at least 500 USDT. The first-place winner gets the largest amount of prize and an additional secret reward.

By clicking on the “Participate” button, you agree to the following Terms of Use. 1. There are three types of tournaments, each with its own parameters for determining the winners: - Competition for the largest trading volume for the selected pair; - Competition for the highest rP&L in trading on the selected pair; - Competition for the highest trading volume for the selected pair and rP&L indicator. 2. For Trading competitions, additional parameters may be applied, which may act as additional conditions for entering the tournament table, namely: - The minimum trading volume that a Participant must achieve for the selected trading pair to get into the leaderboard. - Tournaments only for new exchange users. New users are considered to be those users who registered on the exchange no earlier than three months before the start date of the competition and have not yet participated in trading tournaments on the WhiteBIT platform. 3. An additional parameter of tournaments, which does NOT affect the possibility of getting into the leaderboard, is the equal rewards distribution. Some competitions do not have a fixed number of prize places. Rewards can be divided among the Participants who entered the leaderboard in proportion to their contribution to the total trading volume of the tournament or the rP&L amount. 4. Each Trading competition that is held on WhiteBIT begins at 12:00 p.m. UTC, and ends at 11:59 a.m. UTC on the days specified for each tournament. 5. The tournament leaderboard is updated every 30 minutes. The last update occurs at 12:00 p.m. UTC on the last day of each tournament. 6. For each tournament, users' trading volume and/or rP&L will be calculated only for the trading pair(s) indicated on the competition pages. 7. Trading volume is calculated as the total amount of executed orders for each user to buy and sell on the specified trading pair during the tournament period. 8. rPnL is calculated as the amount of profit that the Participant received during trading on the selected pair after the position is closed. Users with negative or zero rP&L indicators cannot get into the leaderboard of the Trading competition, where the main parameter for selecting winners is the rP&L indicator. Please note that the rP&L indicator will be displayed on the leaderboard in Tether (USDT). 9. In tournaments with two key parameters for determining winners (trading volume + rP&L), these indicators are summed up, but the rP&L indicator has greater significance. In percentage terms, rP&L is 60%, and trading volume is 40%. If the rP&L of a Participant in such a competition is negative, the Participant still has the opportunity to get into the leaderboard since trading volume is also considered. 10. WhiteBIT reserves the right to disqualify a user from participating in a Trading competition if he: - Executes own orders; - Uses an account with zero trading commission (except for special discounts on trading commissions provided to WhiteBIT Coin owners and users with VIP level); - Uses API bots; - Uses a corporate account (for example, an exchange service); - Uses multi-accounts (only one account per user is allowed to participate); - Commits other actions prohibited by the Rules of Use and the WhiteBIT User Agreement. Joint intentional actions of the user with other users who are related parties, using accounts with an internal understanding of activities, strategies, and intentions in placing and executing orders is equivalent to the use of a multi-account, and, therefore, is prohibited and entails disqualification from the tournament. 11. The user will be considered a Participant in the Trading competition only when he clicks the “Participate” button on the competition page. 12. Competition Participants can monitor their place in the leaderboard. Rewards for each tournament will be sent to the Main balance of the winners within 5 business days after the end of the competition (the working day is determined in accordance with the User Agreement). As soon as Participants receive a reward, they will receive a notification by email. 13. In addition to rewards in the form of digital assets, competition winners can receive branded merch, NFTs, and other rewards. Information about the terms and conditions for receiving this category of prizes will be provided in detail on the page of the specific tournament. Any investment in digital assets carries the risk of total or partial loss of capital and the risk of significant volatility, which is potentially unsuitable for retail clients. Past financial performance is not a guarantee of future results. Only use assets that you are willing to lose. 14. Pairs that were added to the exchange after the start of the competition do not participate in trading volume calculation.
